Our workshops are free to all publicly-funded Philadelphia schools, and always will be. We rely on the generous support of donors like you to fund students’ improv education, preparing our next generation to succeed in class and beyond.

The Unscripted Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All of your donations are tax deductible, and you will receive a receipt upon donation.

The Unscripted Project would like to extend a very warm thank you to all of our individual donors, who have contributed over $75,000 to date and funded a full series of programming for more than 50 classes.

Donation FAQs

1. Where does my money go?

All of your donations go directly to supporting Philly public school students and teachers, because our administrative and operating costs are covered by grant funding. Specifically, your donations will be put towards running improv workshops and professional development in the community.

2. Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. The Unscripted Project is a 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax deductible. Please keep the receipt you will be emailed after contributing, as it will serve as the official record of donation.

3. Is my personal information secure?

Absolutely. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We use Stripe’s (https://stripe.com/) industry-standard SSL technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.

4. Will you send me a receipt?

Yes. A receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide on this form. For recurring donations, we will send you a receipt each time we receive a contribution.

5. How can my employer match my donation?

Many companies offer corporate matching for any contributions to 501(c)(3) organizations. Check your company intranet or benefits for details on the company matching process. Common providers are Benevity and YourCause. Here is some information you may require for company matching:
